Summary

From the dynamism of the percussion ensemble to the delicacy of the string quartet, PolyU Orchestra brings you an enchanting encounter with chamber music.

As an intimate form of music performance, chamber music is an interwoven conversation between small groups of performers. In the concert you will enjoy classical pieces from Beethoven and Mozart, the famous Romanian Folk Dances by Béla Bartók to contemporary works for winds and percussion.

Our members have the privilege of being coached by and performing with Mr Leung Kin-fung, Artistic Director and Conductor of the PolyU Orchestra, together with Ms Megan Sterling and Mr Lin Jiang, Principal Flute and Principal Horn of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Join us for an evening of music exemplifying the synergy of instruments in melodic dialogues.
