On the morning of March 27, 2026, Ms. Wan-Ying Ke, Director of the Taizhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, led a delegation to visit the National Rail Transit Electrification and Automation Engineering Technology Research Centre (Hong Kong Branch) (CNERC-Rail) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HK PolyU). Prof. Yi-Qing Ni , Director of the CNERC-Rail, welcomed Director Wan-Ying Ke and the delegation, accompanied by Dr. Si-Qi Ding , Dr. Wen-Qiang Liu , and Mr. Wing-Hong Kwan.
Prof. Yi-Qing Ni first briefly introduced the research progress and achievements of the CNERC-Rail, with a particular focus on the ongoing collaborations with Taizhou City. Director Wan-Ying Ke highly recognized and praised the CNERC-Rail’s accomplishments and expressed a desire to further strengthen ties with the CNERC-Rail to facilitate cooperation and implementation of relevant research. Additionally, Director Wan-Ying Ke emphasized the importance of enhancing collaboration in the cultivation and exchange of technical talents, and pledged full policy support for the establishment of talent and enterprises in Taizhou. Following the meeting, Dr. Si-Qi Ding and Dr. Wen-Qiang Liu led the delegation on a tour of the maglev experimental platform, Railway Corner, HK PolyU’s 3D Printing Technology Centre, and the University History Museum.
