Department of Architecture Showcases Vibrant Creative Spirit at PolyU Info Day 2026

10 Oct 2026

The Department of Architecture (ARCH) successfully welcomed crowds of prospective students, parents, and visitors during the annual PolyU Info Day held on 10 October 2026. The campus-wide event drew a significant turnout, with the university welcoming around 49,000 visitors eager to explore undergraduate opportunities and admissions information. The day served as an important platform for the public to engage directly with faculty members and learn about the diverse educational paths offered by the Department.

Located at the Podium CF Wing, the ARCH exhibition booth drew consistent crowds throughout the day. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the curriculum details of the BSc (Hons) in Architectural Studies programme and interact directly with academic staff and student ambassadors, who offered personalized guidance and academic advice to aspiring designers. A custom mini-game was also featured at the booth, allowing participants to test their spatial skills and redeem department souvenirs.

The Department's admission seminars were highly attended by prospective applicants keen to understand the core curriculum structure, the vibrant studio culture, and the professional registration pathways available upon graduation. Complementing the seminars, a series of hands-on interactive design workshops allowed participants to experience the creative process of an architecture student. Under the direct guidance of the ARCH team, workshop attendees experimented with physical materials, explored spatial concepts, and successfully constructed their own architectural models.

The successful execution of the day’s activities was made possible by the immense dedication, energy, and teamwork demonstrated by all participating staff and student ambassadors. The Department of Architecture extends its sincere appreciation to the entire team for their tireless support in showcasing the academic rigor and creative community spirit of ARCH.
