Academic Staff

Ivan Lau received his BSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin – Stout, USA and Master Degree in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Manchester, UK.  He worked as a Web Specialist at the University Publications (Wisconsin - Stout) and an Instructional Assistant at the HKUST prior to joining The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  He is currently an instructor at the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering.  His teaching areas include computer programming, microcontrollers and embedded systems, and mobile app development.
