UBDA Series - Private Cloud Service

UCAIC's UBDA cloud is a private computing cloud Platform-as-a Service (PaaS), like Azure, IBM, Google Cloud Platform, UCAIC/UBDA users can log in our browser-based portal (https://ubdacloud.polyu.edu.hk), click-and-drag to create and manage virtual machines (compute-engine) and their associated resources such compute (CPU-only), volumes, and networks (PolyU IP address and TCP Ports). All VM Instances are isolated, scalable and can be easily added or removed from the web-portal. VM instances are suitable for launching 7/24 server-based services such as databases, dashboards, website, I/O streaming, and IoT APIs.

UCAIC's UBDA cloud has image of Centos Stream 8/9, Ubuntu 20.04 and Windows 7/8.1/10/Server2012, 2016,2019. Currently, only "Windows 10 Enterprise Edition" can be licensed through the PolyU's Volume Licensing Agreement with Microsoft on the UBDA cloud platform. Once, VM instance is built, user can attach a PolyU Floating IP address (such as 10.14.201.19) on it, so that you can SSH/RDP and connect to the VM.
