Master of Design Information Session

Master of Design (MDes) Scheme will host its first information session after announcing its new, interdisciplinary advanced studies in design and its four all-new full-time programmes. As part of PolyU Info Day for Taught Postgraduate Programmes, the online event will be held via Zoom which offers prospective students an opportunity to meet our faculty virtually and find out more about MDes from the comfort of their homes.

Rundown

2:00 pm – Overall introduction about PolyU Design and the newly revamped MDes
2:40 pm – Breakout sessions for Innovative Business Design (IBD), Intelligent Systems Design (ISD), Smart Service Design (SSD) and Transitional Environments Design (TED)
3:10 pm – Admissions Q&A

The info session will feature

• A comprehensive overview of the MDes programmes from programme leaders
• Information about the MDes Fellowships (TPgFS 2022/23) and other funding options for local students
• Information about HK’s visa policy and the IANG scheme for non-local students
• Tips for a successful application
• The opportunity to ask questions and have them answered in real-time
