Abstract:
This sharing session will showcase first-hand, practical teaching strategies designed to enhance students’ engagement and learning in various physiotherapy and occupational therapy subjects. Prof. Shamay Ng, Prof. Will Chien, and Mr. Kenneth Chung — recipients of the 2024/25 RS Outstanding Teaching Award — will demonstrate their interactive tools and flipped-classroom approaches that foster in-class engagement and the learning of professional knowledge and skills. Participants will explore how these interactive strategies can be integrated into traditional in-person teaching to promote active, reflective, and collaborative learning. The session will conclude with lively discussions and demonstrations on applying these strategies to enrich students’ learning experiences.
