Abstract:
Frame VR for Educators: Design Virtual Spaces Without Coding by Ms Carman Chu (APSS):
Our students are primarily Generation Z, who prefer active participation in online learning, making our lesson design more challenging. This hands-on workshop will introduce Frame VR, a Metaverse platform, and demonstrate how it can boost students’ motivation for autonomous learning in a flipped classroom setting. Carman Chu (APSS) will share her case of adopting this tool in her teaching. All are welcome. No coding experience is required — as long as you have a computer connected to the internet, you can create your own virtual space in Frame VR for free. Join us now!

RS Mentorship Scheme for Advanced HE Fellowship by Prof. Shirley Ngai (RS):
To encourage and support colleagues in applying for Advanced HE Fellowship, the RS Department will establish a mentorship scheme and invite overseas experts to provide additional training and guidance. The department will also support colleagues by covering the application fees for the Fellowship. Details will be shared in this session.
