Aims and Characteristics
Programme Aims:
- To equip students with advanced knowledge and professional skills in rehabilitation sciences or a chosen area of clinical specialism, to enable them to meet the changing needs in rehabilitation practice and contribute to the development of specialty practices.
- To develop a lifelong ability in students to critically analyse ongoing and future practices in rehabilitation.
- To generate knowledge and skills in rehabilitation sciences or areas of clinical specialism relevant to the discipline, in order to improve professional competence in advanced rehabilitation sciences practice.
Characteristics:
Our MScAdRS programme will equip rehabilitation professionals and therapists with advanced knowledge and skills, grounded in a strong theoretical and scientific foundation of evidence-based practice responsive to both personal and environmental factors in practice and research settings. This programme offers (1) a Generic stream and (2) a Rehabilitation of People with Developmental Disabilities stream.
