MScAdPT (Specialism in Neurology Physiotherapy)
MScAdPT (Specialism in Neurology Physiotherapy) equips graduates with extensive knowledge and practical skills in managing patients with all major adults’ neurological disorders. Increasing prevalence of both acquired and age-related neurological conditions ensures a steady demand for physiotherapists specialising in neurological rehabilitation. Our graduates can work in hospitals (in-patient and out-patient units), rehabilitation centres, clinics, and research institutions. This course provides a strong foundation for an impactful career in neurological physiotherapy.
MScAdPT (Specialism in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy)
This programme is designed to develop sports physiotherapists to international competency standards. The programme is recognised as an accredited qualification under the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association (HKPA) Title Programme1. Graduates holding Hong Kong physiotherapy registration may apply for full membership in the HKPA Sports and Exercise Specialty Group and the HKPA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist designation. Membership and titling are subject to additional requirements beyond degree completion. Graduates have pursued advanced careers in private sports physiotherapy clinics, elite sports institutes, and professional sports teams.
MScAdPT (Specialism in Manual and Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy)
MScAdPT (Specialism in Manual and Neuromusculoskeletal), formerly known as the MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy fulfils all of the requirements of international monitoring (educational programme review process) set by the International Federation of Manual and Musculoskeletal Physical Therapists Incorporated (IFOMPT). Students who successfully complete this programme with specialism award may be eligible to apply for full membership of the Manipulative Therapy Specialty Group of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association, which is a member organisation of the IFOMPT. This programme is one of the accredited specialty qualifications under the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association (HKPA) Title Programme1.
