Topic: Teaching Excellence Sharing Series - RS Outstanding Teaching Award Recipient Ms Josephine Wong, Associate Professor of Practice, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences This seminar explores the transformative role of pre-recorded short videos in modern teaching practices, enriched with insights into future trends, artificial intelligence (AI), and the metaverse. Drawing from personal experiences, the session will highlight how these videos have streamlined both online and face-to-face teaching duties, enhancing efficiency and student engagement. Title: Internationalization at Home Program (Speaker: Ms Josephine Wong) Virtual clinical exchange by Internationalization at Home Program (IaH) provided territory-less students’ activities, bridging up the gap between PolyU and Non-local city, fostering global outlook and inter-cultural competence of RS and Non-local students. Preparations and steps in inviting Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and two NGOs in Singapore and local will be shared. IaH can enhance students of RS and SIT their understanding about the provision of health care services in two communities with different cultural background, and emphasizing the importance of allied health multi-disciplinary team approach in quality care provision. |
