You are required to pay the tuition fee in two instalments (according to the above payment schedules). You will be charged a continuation fee when your normal period of study expires.

10,525/6 months (for students admitted in or before the 2016/17 cohort)

Notes:
1. HK$84,200 for Non-UGC-funded students who receive no stipend and no external funding support but some funding from department.
2. HK$42,100 for Non-UGC-funded students who receive no stipend and no external funding support but some funding from department.
3. Starting from 2018/19 academic year, the Government provides tuition waiver for all local students enrolled in UGC-funded research postgraduate programmes during the normal study period.

Caution money (chargeable to all students at first registration and refundable on official withdrawal from the University, subject to no claim being outstanding and the return of the student identity card. Gown hiring fee

To hire the academic gown for attending the Congregation, graduates need to pay a gown hiring fee to a vendor. Please visit the AS website at http://www.polyu.edu.hk/as for more details.

Graduation fee for programmes leading to PolyU Awards (normally converted from caution money)
