Summary
This lecture will explore the cutting-edge technological foundations of lithography-based ceramic manufacturing (LCM) — a process that enables the production of highly dense, precise, and complex ceramic components with exceptional material properties. The session will focus on the exciting evolution from single-material ceramic printing toward multi-material additive manufacturing. By combining different ceramic materials within a single component, entirely new functional possibilities emerge.

Dr Johannes Homa
Dr. Johannes Homa is the co-founder and CEO of Lithoz, the global market leader in ceramic 3D printing. With a PhD in materials science from the Technical University of Vienna, it was him together with his colleague Dr. Johannes Benedikt to successfully adapt 3D printing to the needs of technical ceramics and together they founded Lithoz in 2011. With a background in engineering and materials science, he has played a decisive role in transforming ceramic AM from a research concept into an industrial production technology adopted across many applications. Under his leadership, Lithoz has become the global technology benchmark for ceramic additive manufacturing, enabling customers worldwide to manufacture high-performance ceramic components with unprecedented precision, reliability, and scalability.
