Biography

Prof. Daisy FAN is an Associate Professor in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU SHTM). She earned her Master and PhD Degree from PolyU SHTM. 

Prof. Fan has the research interests of active ageing, ageism, senior tourism, digital experience for older tourists. Her works has been published in various top-tier journals, including Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, Annals of Tourism Research, and Journal of Business Research. As the Principal Investigator (PI), Prof. Fan has also led projects on senior tourism and secured grants from funders such as Bournemouth University and British Academy. 

By joining RISA, Prof. Fan is dedicated to work on interdisciplinary projects on active ageing and smart ageing via tourism and leisure.
