Biography

Prof. Charlotte TSANG is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She obtained her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences at PolyU.

Prof. Tsang demonstrates robust expertise in the fields of fall prevention, stroke rehabilitation and active ageing. Her research explores the effects of fall-related psychological factors on the association between physical functions and falls, her works have been published in renowned journals such as Physical Therapy, Journal of Physiotherapy and Journal of the American Medical Directors Association. She has also led projects for fall prevention of older adults in the community and received competitive grants such as the Health and Medical Research Fund.

By joining RISA, Prof. Tsang aims to build collaborations with interdisciplinary experts in ageing, advance ageing-related research and foster health ageing.
