Pixels of PolyU (PoP) Photo Competition

Join the Pixels of PolyU (PoP) Photo Competition and stand a chance to win a MacBook Air!

You can take inspiration from various aspects of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) and submit your best photos to capture the STEAM elements in the PolyU campus. Whether you are a future engineer or a biochemistry researcher, it is time to show off your creativity to reveal the aesthetic of your work in STEAM-related subjects. Please click here to submit your photo(s) by 31 July 2023.

Eligibility

1. Open to all PolyU students and staff

2. Maximum 2 photos can be submitted per participant 

3. Photo(s) must be the original work of the participants, and be taken after 31^st July 2022

4. Photo(s) must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi in JPEG / JPG / TIFF format with file size of maximum 8MB

How to join 

1. Participants are required to take photos under the theme of “STEAM” (namely Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) of PolyU’s campus.

2. Upload the photo(s) and complete the form with photo title (max 20 words) and brief introduction (max 200 words). Both English and Chinese can be accepted.

How to win

1. The criteria adopted in determining the winning photos will be the relevancy of the topic, photo quality, informational content, and creativity of the photos.

2. Winners will be announced by 30 Sep 2023.

1. Champion (1 winner): One MacBook Air 

2. First-runner up (2 winners): One iPad mini 

3. Second-runner up (3 winners): One Marshall wireless speaker  

4. STEAM Award (5 winners): HKD $1,000 cash prize 

5. Public Vote Award (3 winners): One latest model wireless speaker
