The Mainland-Hong Kong Joint Funding Scheme (MHKJFS) is now open for application with
deadline on 21 May 2021. To facilitate the research work of PolyU community, ITDO has been
working closely with various partners for funding opportunities. We are very delighted to invite
you joining the Briefing Session on MHKJFS to know more about the Scheme.

About the Scheme:

Launched in April 2019, MHKJFS aims to support and encourage research and development (R&D)
collaboration among universities, research institutes and technology enterprises in Hong Kong and
the Mainland. Project proposals under three specific themes, namely "Biotechnology: Research
on Prevention and Treatment of Cancer; Research on Modernisation of Chinese
Medicine; and Prevention and Treatment of Respiratory Tract Infection", "Artificial
Intelligence" and "New Materials", are being invited this year.
