Summary
The International Academic Forum for Non-exposed Space has been successfully organised for eight sessions since 2016 in China. The term "non-exposed space positioning" was first academically defined by Yang Yuanxi, who is the Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. At the same time, this academic forum has been jointly initiated and promoted by many other Members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences or Engineering, such as Sun Jiadong, Qi Fahrenheit, Shen Rongjun, Liu Jingnan, Li Deren, Fan Benyao, He Qibin, and Ouyang Ziyuan, etc. This forum is a comprehensive, specialised and innovative academic platform aiming at discussing the application and development of indoor and outdoor PNT (Positioning, Navigation and Timing) technology, and it is a comprehensive, specialised, interdisciplinary and innovative academic platform aimed at exploring the application and development of indoor and outdoor PNT technologies.
