On 14 October 2026, Prof. Harm-Anton Klok from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) delivered an insightful seminar titled “Plastics for Good – New Materials from Lignocellulosic Biomass.” Organized by RCRE and co-organized by CEE at PolyU, the event brought together approximately 40 participants, including faculty members, researchers, and students.
Following the seminar, Prof. Klok visited our CEE and Industrial Centre (IC) laboratories, where he engaged in fruitful exchanges with faculty and researchers on cutting-edge developments in sustainable materials.
