Vision

To position PolyU as a world-leading hub for resourceful utilization of solid wastes and as a driving force in the global journey towards carbon neutrality.

 

Mission

  • Develop innovative waste-to-resources technologies and associated policies to minimize wastes for landfill disposal and maximize values recovery from wastes towards circular economy.
  • Help Hong Kong to achieve zero landfill by 2035, zero-waste city and carbon neutrality by 2050.
