Outstanding ESG Enterprises Recognition Scheme 2026 Officially Launched
Following the remarkable success of its inaugural edition, the Outstanding ESG Enterprises Recognition Scheme and Ceremony 2026 has been officially launched.
The inaugural Outstanding ESG Enterprises Recognition Scheme and Ceremony, co-organised by Sing Tao News Corporation and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, was successfully held from May to November 2023. The programme attracted widespread participation from renowned companies across various sectors and yielded significant results, acknowledging outstanding organisations for their proactive adoption of ESG practices while providing a powerful platform for the exchange of industry expertise and experience. This collective effort has helped foster deeper exploration of the prospects and business opportunities for ESG development, both in Hong Kong and globally.
Building on this solid foundation, the Outstanding ESG Enterprises Recognition Scheme and Ceremony 2026 continue to be jointly organised by Sing Tao News Corporation and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, with the support of the School of Accounting and Finance, the Research Centre for Environmental, Social, and Governance Advancement (RCESGA), and the Policy Research Centre for Innovation and Technology (PReCIT).
A professional panel comprising ESG experts, academics and industry leaders will evaluate applicants’ performance across the Environmental, Social and Governance dimensions. Combined with public voting to encourage social engagement, the Scheme will recognise outstanding companies for their exceptional achievements in carbon reduction, corporate governance and social responsibility, while providing expert guidance to steer the business community towards higher standards of sustainable development.

「ESG認證計劃暨嘉許禮2026」正式啟動
首屆「ESG認證計劃暨嘉許禮」由星島新聞集團與香港理工大學攜手合辦，於2023年5月至11月期間成功舉行，吸引來自不同行業的知名企業參與。計劃旨在表揚積極實踐環境、社會及管治（ESG）理念的機構，並透過業界與學界交流，促進相關知識分享及經驗交流。活動亦有助推動各界就ESG發展趨勢、挑戰及機遇展開深入探討，進一步提升社會對可持續發展議題的關注。
承接首屆活動成果，「ESG認證計劃暨嘉許禮2026」現已正式啟動，延續星島新聞集團與香港理工大學的緊密合作，並由會計及金融學院、環境，社會，和治理促進研究中心（RCESGA）及科技及創新政策研究中心（PReCIT）共同協辦。
是次合作體現學界與業界攜手推動可持續發展的共同理念，進一步加強各方在推動社會可持續發展方面的工作，共同推廣綠色發展理念，並提升各界的相關意識。
「ESG認證計劃暨嘉許禮2026」將由具備ESG相關專業背景的學者、專家及業界領袖組成評審團，從環境、社會及管治三大範疇評估參選企業的實踐表現。計劃亦設有公眾投票環節，以鼓勵社會大眾共同參與和關注ESG發展。透過表揚在可持續發展、減碳、企業管治及社會責任方面表現卓越的機構，計劃期望發揮示範作用，推動企業持續提升ESG實踐水平。
