
The primary research focus of RC-CSC is the in-depth exploration of catalysts and their applications in various chemical reactions related to multi-scale energy conversion and supply systems under the carbon neutrality goals.
Theme 1. Catalyst Design:
Applying a theoretical calculations strategy to optimize the synthetic approaches of catalysts and further improve their catalytic performance.
Theme 2. Catalytic Applications:
Designing novel catalysts and advanced catalytic systems for sustainable energy conversion, including: (1) CO2 reduction (CO2RR) & small molecule conversion; (2) H2 production via water splitting; (3) fuel cell; (4) biofuels production from renewable feedstocks. All developments integrate theoretical modelling with experimental validation to enhance activity, stability, and scalability.
