Introduction
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) established its International Advisory Board (the “Board”) in 2010 to bring more international perspectives to its planning and management of various education and research initiatives. The Board has made significant contributions over the years to advancing the development of the University.
Purpose
The purpose of the Board is to provide advice on the strategic development directions and major initiatives of PolyU and to serve as a bridge between PolyU and the global academic community for collaboration and exchange, thereby empowering the University to turn its vision into reality in order to foster a better future for Hong Kong, the Nation, and the world.
Membership
The new membership, consisting of the PolyU President as the Convener and internationally renowned leaders in academia and the innovation/technology sector as Board Members, was established in September 2024. Board Members have been appointed for a term of three years until August 2027.
