【High-level Research Discussion with Industry Leaders on AI+ Supply Chain Management】
We successfully held a High-level Research Discussion with Founders, CEOs, and CTOs of Listed Companies, themed "AI + Supply Chain" on 7 July. The event commenced with opening remarks by LMS Interim Head Prof. Mike Lai and NEOM Founding Director Prof. Chris Lo, who introduced the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies (LMS) and outlined the core objectives of this collaborative exchange.
The seminar featured deep insights from two professors specializing in AI, who presented on federated learning and the integration of artificial intelligence in smart manufacturing and supply chains. This academic perspective was seamlessly paired with practical industry insights, as leadership from five leading enterprises shared their current practices and forward-looking visions for deploying AI agents. The event concluded with a guided tour of the Industrial Centre and a networking session at Hotel Icon, where participants engaged in deeper discussions regarding potential future cooperation and collaborative innovation. LMS and NEOM look forward to new research collaborations with these leading firms.
