Industry-Research Matching with HKYIC
NEOM partners with the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council (HKYIC) to power its industry–research matching platform, bringing together empirical operations management researchers with a vibrant community of industrial leaders and innovators in Hong Kong and beyond. HKYIC’s membership comprises accomplished industrialists with deep operational experience across sectors, and the association actively promotes industrial development, innovation exchange, and cross-sector collaboration.
Through this platform, NEOM members can connect with HKYIC companies to co-identify real operational problems, negotiate access to industry data, and design empirical studies that address urgent practice-level challenges. This collaboration strengthens the empirical research pipeline by embedding scholarly inquiry directly in industry operations, enabling field experiments, multi-site data collection, and impactful evidence generation aligned with current operational practice.
By linking academic rigor with industry relevance, the HKYIC–NEOM matching platform advances research that not only meets the highest scholarly standards but also delivers practical insights into real-world operations and supply chain systems.
