Biography

Dr. Fei Li is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she also earned her Ph.D. in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the Faculty of Business. Her research focuses on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), sustainability, and techno-nationalism, with an emphasis on policy analysis and organizational decision-making. She employs empirical and AI-assisted methods such as event-study analysis, difference-in-differences (DID), and large language model (LLM)-based text analytics. Dr. Li also has a background in brand management and strategic communication.

 

Before joining academia, Dr. Li gained diverse international working experiences across the U.S. and China, including working in operations at Nordstrom in San Francisco and as a Research Assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has presented her research at major international conferences such as INFORMS and POMS, and her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal.
