Welcome to the International Summit on

Digital Twin Medicine 2026!

On behalf of the organising committee, we warmly welcome you to the International Summit on Digital Twin Medicine 2026, an NEJM Frontiers in Medicine Symposium, in Shenzhen, China, from 11 to 13 November 2026. The summit brings together The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, NEJM Frontiers in Medicine, Stanford University and Fudan University for international scientific exchange and collaboration.

Under the theme “The Next Paradigm Beyond Precision Medicine”, we will explore how digital twin medicine can advance more dynamic and personalised healthcare. As population ageing and chronic diseases present growing challenges, advances in artificial intelligence, longitudinal multi-omics, medical imaging and wearable technologies offer new opportunities to understand individual health trajectories and inform clinical decisions.

Through invited presentations and discussion, scientists and clinicians will examine personal digital twins, healthy ageing, AI-enabled health modelling and organ-specific applications. We will also consider clinical trial design and the evidence needed to translate emerging approaches into clinical practice. We hope these exchanges will generate new research ideas and strengthen collaboration across disciplines.

Beyond the scientific programme, we invite you to experience Shenzhen’s culture and spirit of innovation, alongside the hospitality and cuisine of southern China. We hope your visit offers time to reconnect with colleagues and form new friendships.
