SPSS software latest version releases

The SPSS v.28 is now available. Departments acquired SPSS licenses may update its latest version for teaching and learning and research purposes if necessary. For enquiries regarding the SPSS licence arrangements, please contact Ms Peggie Lau at Extn. 2413.

Workshops on ‘IT Support for Research’ – Grafana & Basic R

In October, 2 new workshops cover fundamental on Grafana and Basic R will be organized for PolyU researchers to build awareness on open software tools that help to manage and present research data and findings.

A new smart meter solution was launched to both Hung Hom and Homantin Student Halls of Residence to facilitate the operation of electric appliances in halls.

Remote access to licensed software in SCC via vSCC

The Student Computer Centre (SCC) is located on the 3rd and 4th floor of the Li Ka Shing Tower. Students can leverage licensed software installed at SCC machines remotely via Virtual Student Computer Centre (vSCC).

IT security online training course – Module 13 is available for students

A new module of the IT Security Online Training Course for students is now available on LEARN@PolyU. This new module provides smart tips to protect yourself against Ransomware.
