The mySystem virtual machine provided staff and students to run, test or develop their applications on various Operating System environment for teaching, learning and research purposes. Staff and students can apply for the use of mySystem service on an annual basis.
A new round of application for mySystem service virtual machine for period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021 will commence on 1 July 2020. Staff and students can apply online via the Academic Computing Services Portal.
To provide better support for research and academic activities, new major operating systems will be made available while SUSE Linux Enterprise Server will be retired from OS list on ‘mySystem’ starting from July 2020:
