Summary
Experience Ways Out Hong Kong's unique food waste upcycling process and take home with a customized piece of sustainable jewelry!
In this Trashy Treasure Workshop, you can better understand the food waste issue and get a first-hand upcycling experience to turn citrus peels into a delicate bracelet.
廚餘能變首飾？沒錯，你只要與我們花點創意，一些「零價值」的果皮或菜頭菜尾也能變成精緻的首飾！
透過廚餘首飾工作坊，你除了可以認識城中廚餘問題和其作為資源的價值之外，還能體驗箇中「轉廢為寶」的升級再造過程，將廚餘轉化成獨一無二的手鐲。
Remarks
- Session A: 12:30 - 1:30 pm (Cantonese)
- Session B: 2:00 - 3:00 pm (English)
- Quota: 20 per each session (Quotas of workshops are limited and allocation will be made by drawing lots.)
- Fee: 5 GreenCoins *Coins will be deducted in due course after confirmation of successful registration

With the aim of "Turn Trash into Treasure", Ways Out Hong Kong desires to eliminate household food waste by turning them into something beautiful and fashionable, in order to raise public awareness and provoke behavioral change, as well as promotes "sustainability for all". Besides, Ways Out empowers underprivileged women through its "#MarvelMami Talent Development Program". By providing flexible working hours and training of upcycling techniques and jewelry-making skills, underprivileged mothers who have limited employment options are able to develop their talents and enhance their well-being. Ways Out深信「轉廢為寶」，希望通過巧手匠心，實踐環保教育的理想。每顆亮麗的「掌上明珠」都是以被人輕視的廚餘用心改造，所有包裝均採用循環再用物料。明珠動人的背後，盛載著意義深遠的環保議題。 此外，Ways Out亦曾發起推動女性賦權計劃「#MarvelMami Talent Development Program」。此計劃讓年輕的單親媽媽加入珠寶設計及生產團隊，發揮自身才能，實現自我價值，達到經濟獨立。
