Green building development has been a core and strategic focus to industry practitioners, the government as well as the general public. The Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), established in 2009, strives to promote the standards and developments of sustainable buildings in Hong Kong and to raise green building awareness among all. 

As the global trend on sustainability is moving beyond the mere emphasis on buildings, BEAM Plus Neighbourhood, a new rating tool developed by the HKGBC will be launched in December 2016 to address urban sustainability beyond building-level performance. It covers a range of socio-economic and ecological performance indicators for a development project and call for attention on promoting sustainable living and the general well-being.

A series of seminars will be organized by HKGBC to introduce BEAM Plus Neighbourhood to the public with details as follows, and you are all invited to join and register for free:
