FH New Directions Lecture Series

The FH New Directions Lecture Series provides a forum for the Faculty’s junior scholars at the ranks of Assistant Professor or Research Assistant Professor to present the latest directions of their research to the larger intellectual communities. Three lectures were given by presenters from our three academic departments in the previous season:
- Cartoons and Construction, Production and Painting: Labor and the Massification of Fine Art in the People’s Republic of China, 1949-1979 by Dr Angie C. BAECKER(CHC), Research Assistant Professor
- The World is Not Yet Ours: Discourse, Materiality and Care in the Fight for Migrants’ Rights by Prof. Lydia CATEDRAL(ENGL), Assistant Professor
- Use of Virtual Reality in Rehabilitation of Aphasia and Cognitive Communication Disorders: A Recent Update by Dr Winsy WONG(CBS), Research Assistant Professor
