Biography
Dr. HE Zhengda is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Dr. HE received his PhD degree in chemistry in 2019. From 2023 to 2025, he was a postdoc at Florida State University, specialize in high-throughput screening on battery-related materials and electrocatalysts. Prior to that, he was a research associate at Forschungszentrum Juelich, focusing on oxygen evolution on Fe-doped NiOOH material. Dr. HE also visited Leiden university (2015-2016) and Ulm university (2018) through CSC and DAAD scholarships.
Dr. HE is a computational scientist specializing in predictive AI-driven materials design. His work combines expertise in automatic data generation workflows, atomistic simulations, and AI-driven predictive modeling to enhance materials discovery processes.
Dr. HE has published 20 peer-reviewed papers, including 11 in Q1 journals, with an h-index of 11 and over 690 citations.
