Dear all,
On behalf of the Hong Kong PolyU CIB Student Chapter, we are pleased to invite you to join the competition under “Constructing Smart Cities”, the CIB World Building Congress 2019 (CIB WBC 2019), which will be held in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 17-21 June 2019.
The aim of this competition is to provide a platform for all eligible members of CIB Student Chapters to exhibit their studies and research outcomes. Student applicants who have successfully registered the CIB WBC 2019 are eligible to apply. 18 presentations will be selected from all applications.
Each participant will have 15 minutes and 5 minutes for presentation and Q&A, respectively. There will be 3 parallel groups with 6 participants in each group. Each group will have its individual topic.
Topics:
- Smart Buildings and infrastructure, Smart Transportation and Mobility, Smart Utilities and Facilities Management
- Smart People and Living, Smart Service, Smart Governance, Policy and Economy
- Smart Planning, Design and Construction, Smart Environment
Awards:
Best Award (3 winners, 1 winner in each parallel group): Cash HK$1,000 with a Certificate
Second Award (3 winners, 1 winner in each parallel group): Cash HK$500 with a Certificate
*Registered participant will receive a Certificate.
