Dear Students
If your student identity card is due to expire by the end of January 2023 and you will continue your study in Semester Two of 2022/23, please collect a new student identity card from the Academic Registry Service Centre (M101, Li Ka Shing Tower) from 26 January 2023 onwards. You are required to bring along the following documents when collecting your new student identity card:
- Your current student identity card for cancellation*; and
- Your original Hong Kong Identity Card (Passport/Mainland ID for non-local students) for verification
The opening hours of the Academic Registry Service Centre are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 9.00 am to 1.00 pm; 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm
Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed
Important Notes
If you are currently out of Hong Kong, you may collect the renewed student identity card after returning to Hong Kong. Your online access to electronic resources in Semester Two of 2022/23 will NOT be suspended even you are not going to collect your renewed student identity card in January 2023, providing that you will continue your study in Semester Two of 2022/23.

* Please be reminded to clear all the money value stored in the student identity card as the card will be cancelled immediately after collection. The PolyU shall not be liable for any subsequent claims for unspent balance after the card has been cancelled.
