Explore Study Options for Ug Students

 

Starting from the 2025/26 academic year, 4-year undergraduate students have the unique opportunity to explore their academic interests during their first year. It allows you to make an informed decision about your undergraduate study pathway towards the end of your first year. Explore the various study options: Bachelor's Degree Scheme, Minor, Secondary Major, Double Major and Fast-track Programmes. Undergraduate Level Study Options

Credit Requirements  18 credits 
(At least 50% of the subjects should be at Level 3 or above.)

 

36 credits 
(At least 50% of the subjects should be at Level 3 or above.)

 

The actual number of credits required for getting a Double Major depends on the level of commonality between the two Majors. 

 

Double Count Limitations   Up to 6 credits of Major/GUR subjects can be double-counted towards the Minor

 

Up to 12 credits of Major/GUR subjects can be double-counted towards the Secondary Major

 

Apart from the 30 credits of GUR subjects, up to 1/3 of the Discipline-Specific Requirements (DSR) of the First Major which are common to the Second Major can be double-counted.
