A recipient of the 2024 DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award, Ms Michelle Lau Pui-kar is an independent fashion photographer who frequently collaborates with internationally renowned brands and magazines, including Balenciaga, Chanel, Longchamp, and Vogue. Two of her works, Back to Basic and The Passenger, were published in the esteemed Italian edition of Vogue. Over the past decade, she has visited more than 30 countries, participated in over 20 media interviews, collaborated with various organisations to hold exhibitions and lectures, and even delivered a talk at PechaKucha, receiving widespread recognition. Additionally, Ms Lau has shot stills for films such as I’m Livin’ It, Little Q, and Line Walker 2: Invisible Spy.
