In 2023, Ir Dr David Kwok Tai-wai completed PolyU’s Doctor of International Real Estate and Construction programme as its youngest graduate. This accomplished engineer has worked on various large-scale infrastructure projects like the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link and Doha Metro, and has supervised iconic façade projects such as the Hong Kong Palace Museum, Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel, and Hopewell Centre II. A recipient of HKIE ’s Young Engineer of the Year Award and FHKI ’s Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong, Dr Kwok is also a passionate force for good. He volunteered as a tutorial teacher and founded Insquare Foundation, which provides free STEAM education to financially disadvantaged students, making dedicated efforts to nurture the next generation.
