Chongqing Alumni Network

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Chongqing Alumni Network was officially established in June 2025. Upholding the university motto "To learn and to apply, for the benefit of mankind," the network focuses on gathering and serving alumni in Chongqing while leveraging the strengths of PolyU to benefit the local community.

The Network has established subcommittees for administration, projects, and academic training to explore collaboration between academia and industry. It focuses on aligning PolyU's research with Chongqing's strategic initiatives, particularly the "33618" modern manufacturing cluster, to accelerate alumni-driven technology transformation.

Through partnerships with government and industry, the Network aims at strengthening the Chengdu-Chongqing linkage and connecting with international resources, empowering the university and fostering a collaborative innovation ecosystem that benefits both the university and the network.
