English Language Requirements
Local applicants are required to meet one of the following listed English language requirements:

(For tests taken before 21 January 2026) Total Score of 80 or above out of 120 in one sitting * The test date should be within 2 years before the commencement date of study at PolyU for the results to be considered valid. * TOEFL iBT Home Edition test results will not be considered for meeting the English language requirements for taught programmes. |

An overall band score of 6.0 or above in one sitting * The test date should be within 2 years before the commencement date of study at PolyU for the results to be considered valid. * IELTS Online, IELTS Indicator, and IELTS One Skill Retake test results will not be considered for meeting the English language requirements for taught programmes. |
