Please note that Category I and Category II applicants are considered under different admission routes and are subject to different tuition fees. Category II applicants seeking admission on the basis of HKDSE results should submit their applications directly to PolyU. For non-local Category II applicants, please click here for the relevant admission requirements.

During the admissions process, applicants may be required to provide a copy of their identity document / passport to verify their admission category. Should any application data, including the  admission category, be found incorrect or misleading, the admission offer made may be revoked and any fees paid will not be refunded.

If your status changes from Category I to Category II (or vice versa) after you submit your application, any offers made under the initial admissions scheme and category may be cancelled. Your application will then be considered in competition with other eligible applicants under the new admissions scheme and category.
