  1. The programme curriculum includes both core and specialty subjects. Students must complete 21credits in the part-time mode, and have to take a 6-month practicum in the full-time mode.
  2. The subjects are offered on Saturdays. Each subject carries 3 credits and involves 42 contact hours over 7 weeks, except the subjects of Emergency Nursing, Infant Health and Child Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing, which have 6-credit value and involves 84 contact hours.

  • Community Nursing: Community Nursing (3 credits); Health Needs of the Community (3 credits)
  • Critical & Emergency Nursing - Critical Nursing: Critical Care I (Cardio-respiratory Care) (3 credits); Critical Care II (Multi-systems Care) (3 credits)
  • Critical & Emergency Nursing - Emergency Nursing: Emergency Nursing (6 credits)
  • Geriatric Nursing: Care of Older Persons with Cognitive Impairment (3 credits); Ageing in Humans (3 credits)
  • Infant Health and Child Nursing: Infant Health and Child Nursing (6 credits)
  • Infection Control: Infection Control Practice (3 credits); Medical Microbiology (3 credits)
  • Mental Health Nursing: Mental Health Nursing (6 credits)
  • Obstetric & Gynecological Nursing: Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing (6 credits)
  • Rehabilitative Nursing: Rehabilitative Care (3 credits); Health Needs of the Community (3 credits)
