Dean Kaye Chon delivered a lecture on "Innovations and Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism" at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand on 23 March 2026.

Prof. Vincent Tung presented a paper entitled "Rationalizing Discriminatory Tourism Experiences" at the ATLAS Critical Tourism Studies Asia-Pacific In-Between Conference 2026 in Kyoto, Japan on 9–10 March.

Prof. Richard Qiu presented a paper entitled "The Practice of PATA's Asia Pacific Visitor Forecasts Reports" at the Foresight Practitioner Conference 2026 in Bruges, Belgium on 2–3 March.

Prof. Haiyan Song presented the latest visitor arrival trends and forward-looking projections for the Asia-Pacific region in the context of a complex and evolving global economic and geopolitical environment at the PATA webinar "Asia Pacific Tourism Outlook 2026–2028: Growth Under Global Uncertainty" on 26 February 2026.

Prof. Ying Wang, Dr Roshis Shrestha, and Dr Hanyuan Zhang attended the 36th Annual CAUTHE Conference in Adelaide, Australia on 9–12 February 2026. Prof. Wang presented a co-authored paper entitled "Location with Feelings: A Multimodal Approach". Dr Shrestha presented a paper entitled "Fostering Regenerative Mountain Tourism Work: A Participatory Action Research". Dr Zhang presented a co-authored paper entitled "Can the Design of Digital Guide Reshape Museum Visitors' Preferences?".
