邝伟恒博士为香港理工大学康复治疗科学系的助理教授（物理治疗）。邝博士在理大获得物理治疗学理学士学位、手法物理治疗理学硕士学位和博士学位。他曾在本地的公立医院、社区及私人物理治疗诊所为患者提供物理治疗服务，拥有丰富的临床经验。
邝博士的主要研究兴趣是中风康复、平衡和姿势控制以及步态生物力学。在加入理大之前，邝博士曾在新加坡康复研究所（RRIS）担任博士后研究员，是RRIS的「活动能力数据库」项目和「精确康复」项目的共同研究员，该两个项目旨在开发由数据驱动的康复方案，以促进有活动能力障碍人士的康复。
他的研究曾发表在知名的同行评审国际期刊上，例如Scientific Data、Journal of the American Heart Association、Clinical Rehabilitation及Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation等。
