The MScAdOT degree offers promising career prospects through a generic track and three specialty streams—Neurology, Mental Health, and Musculoskeletal—designed to strengthen occupational therapists’ knowledge and skills in line with their individual interests. The teaching pedagogy follows a flipped-classroom model, aligning with both departmental and university-wide educational strategies.
The curriculum is tailored for practising therapists, combining online video lectures with face-to-face tutorials, and culminating in the presentation of a group-based research project.
Graduates who are interested in academic or research careers may also use this programme as a pathway towards doctoral studies or PhD training in occupational therapy or related health sciences.
Please note that the MScAdOT programme does not confer eligibility for registration with the Occupational Therapists Board of Hong Kong.
