Ms Wang Xin shared the spirit of life with over 200 PolyU students and staff

Our Sports Advisor and former Olympic diving gold medalist, Ms Wang Xin, delivered a speech for the Inspirational Talk Series by STARS Residential College last week. She shared about the spirit of life with over 200 PolyU students and staff. RISports Director, Prof. Zhang Ming, has also supported the talk and communicated with her.

RISports director met with Sports Advisors

In this summer, RISports director Prof. Zhang Ming met with our Sports Advisors to introduce some current projects and exchange ideas related to sports researches. They included Ms Zhang Ping, former Olympic volleyball gold medalist, Ms Wang Xin, former Olympic diving gold medalist, and Ms Guo Yina, former World Wushu Tai Chi Chuan Champion.

Visit from Hong Kong Rugby Union Community Foundation

Director, Chief Community Officer and Head of Community Inclusive Participation of the Hong Kong Rugby Union Community Foundation visited RISports on 17 Aug 2023 and welcomed by Prof. Zhang Ming and his research team members. Both parties introduced themselves and discussed to explore collaboration opportunities.

Prof. JT Fan takes forward collaboration with Ganzhou

Prof. Jin-tu Fan, Associate Director of Risports and Chair Professor of Fiber Science and Apparel Engineering, led a delegation to visit Ganzhou on 16 Aug 2023 to discuss the collaboration among industry, academic and research sectors with industry leaders and officials of the municipal government. The meeting conducted exchanges and discussions on technological innovation, product research and development, and cooperation directions in textile and clothing. PolyU Foundation Luncheon Series (Sports Science and Technology)

Ir Prof. Ming Zhang, Director of RISports, was invited to speak at the PolyU Foundation Luncheon Series introducing the latest research development related to sports last month. The welcoming speech was delivered by Dr Miranda Lou, Executive Vice President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Our Sports Advisors, former gold medalists, Ms Jin Ma (Badminton) and Ms Xin Wang (Diving) also joined the event together with other industrial partners and friends.
