Biography

Dr. Lanning Tian holds a Ph.D. in Health and Welfare Management from the International University of Health and Welfare in Japan and a Master's degree in Information System Management from Depaul University in the United States. She has worked as the Director of IT Department in Social Welfare Centre and led the National Information System for Aged Services funded by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. In 2014, Dr. Tian founded the SSIDC Senior Service Informatics Innovation Research Center, where she currently serves as president. Under her leadership, the center has organized numerous salons, symposiums, and innovation awards to promote the innovative application of information technology in the senior care industry. Additionally, she established and led the Zhongguancun SSIDC Smart Health and Senior Care Industrial Alliance. 

She played a key role in the development of the industry standard for "Elderly Ability Assessment," as well as the national standard for "Basic Requirements for Home-based Senior Care Service Information Platform." She has also authored several books, including "Basic Operation Guide of Ability Assessment for the Elderly" and " Excellent case study of information technology for the elderly". 

Dr. Tian's extensive experience, innovative spirit, and dedication to improving the lives of the elderly have earned her a reputation as one of the leading experts in the field of senior care informatics in China.
