Interdisciplinary research team, at the intersection of finance, law, and AI technology, led to the creation of a University’s start-up company in 2024.

The award-winning start-up is transforming Hong Kong’s legal services by automating repetitive tasks such as research, translation, and contract drafting; facilitating cross-border transactions with the Chinese Mainland and beyond with cost-effective, reliable legal solutions; and shaping policy by providing the Legislative Council’s Panel on Administration of Justice and Legal Services and the Department of Justice with a proven model to advance LawTech and AI. It also launched Hong Kong’s first University AI tutor, fostering a new generation of LawTech-ready professionals.

The company is now employing 30 staff and serving over 1,000 professional users from a diverse range of high profile companies.
