Guangzhou Baiyun Jianke Holdings Group visited PolyU to envision a new blueprint for "Design Capital" and smart cities

A delegation from the Guangzhou Baiyun Jianke Group, along with representatives from the Guangzhou Baiyun District Liaison Office in Hong Kong and the Guangdong Industrial Design Association, visited PolyU on 29 April for a strategic exchange.

During the meeting, both parties engaged in in‑depth discussions on design innovation and construction environment. By combining PolyU’s strengths in design, construction, and energy engineering with the Group’s excellence in urban development and industrialisation, the exchange explored new opportunities for industry-academic-research collaboration within the Greater Bay Area.  

The delegation also toured the Digital Energy Intelligence Lab, gaining first‑hand insights into PolyU’s latest advancements in smart energy monitoring and digitalised management, and discussing the practical applications of cutting‑edge research in modern urban settings.

Looking ahead, PolyU will continue to strengthen collaboration with leading enterprise in the GBA, driving advancements in design innovation, smart city development, and deeper industry‑academia integration.
