The Sustainability Lecture Series (SLS) is a dynamic conference series jointly organized by the Research and Innovation Office (RIO) of PolyU and the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau since 2020. The series aims to unite speakers from both academic and business communities to share their perspectives, experiences, and best practices related to sustainability. Past topics have included urban ecological water management, air pollution, energy storage, green building, smart buildings, waste-to-energy, fashion, and food.
This September, the Sustainability Lecture Series will return as part of this year's ReThink initiative! We are excited to welcome Business France as our co-organizer, which will enrich our discussions by bringing more French companies to the table and providing diverse insights from both academic and business sectors.
In the spirit of the Paris Olympics 2024, our theme will focus on Building Sustainable and Inclusive Cities. Join us as we explore innovative solutions and strategies that have the potential to reshape our environment for future generations.
